About Mark

I graduated from High School in 1999, with a UAI of 90.7. In 2000, I attended JMC Academy, where I completed a Certificate IV in Digital Production and Multimedia, graduating with a Distinction average.

The web design/development component was a highlight of the course at JMC, and I was very keen to pursue it as a career.

In February 2001, I started work at Clarke Computers as a member of the support team. Over time, my responsibilities expanded to include the company web site, which I totally redesigned towards the end of 2002.

Originally redeveloping the site in ASP, I later converted it to PHP, as the server setup suited PHP better, and I found that I preferred working with PHP.

I am now working for PC Tools as a full-time Web Developer, as well as hosting several web sites and doing contract web development work. In addition to this, I am also currently studying a Bachelor of Information Technology majoring in Online Systems through Charles Sturt University.

I have also worked on several web sites as a sub-contractor, involving HTML, CSS, ASP and SQL. Details of these sites and my contributions to them are included in my portfolio.
